The Rubinstein Library Version One

In Celebration of Dr. Jack Rubinstein

What started out in 1972 with one locked bookcase in a temporary library in a basement conference room in the Pavilion Building has evolved into The Rubinstein Library we know today. The 1972 Library Committee, headed by Dr. Jack Rubinstein, reported that the first library collection would consist of high priority textbooks from his own medical   book collection and would be of great use in the children’s hospital wards. The library has grown over the years and continues to support the needs of families and  community members looking for assistance in understanding and supporting children’s developmental   and behavioral conditions. Upon the announcement of his retirement from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the decision was made to rename and dedicate the library to Dr.  Rubinstein.
